UGC (User-Generated Content)
Content made by real people, paid for by a brand.
What it is
UGC stands for user-generated content. It is content made by an everyday person rather than a big production team, and it usually looks and sounds like a normal person talking. Brands pay for UGC because people trust it far more than a polished advert. On AllGig a UGC campaign tells you the product, what to show, and how you are paid. You film with your own phone, submit the work, and get paid when the brand approves it. UGC does not need a studio, a big camera, or a large following - a clear phone video that follows the brief is what wins.
Example
A skincare brand asks for a 30-second phone video of you using the product and saying what you honestly think. You film it at home, submit it, and get paid once it is approved.
Good to know
Do I need a big following for UGC? Usually no. Most UGC campaigns pay for the content itself, not for your reach. Read each campaign to see whether views matter before you apply.
